Can You See Me Now? is a chase game played online
and on the streets. You are dropped at a random
location into virtual Köln. Blast Theory search
for you in the very real streets of Köln's
Kalk quarter using GPS.
Use your arrow keys to flee down the virtual streets,
send messages and exchange tactics with other online
players. An audio stream from Blast Theory's
walkie talkies lets you eavesdrop on your pursuers:
getting lost, cold and out of breathe on the real
streets. If a runner gets within 5 metres of your
location, you are caught and a photo of where you
were "seen" is taken.
Can You
See Me Now? is presented as part of DAMPF - the
International Festival for Dance, Media and Performance.
